Kerriemuir Lass will need to bounce back from a poor run when last seen but had been progressive prior to that run and gets the vote ahead of Mighty Moon, My Arch, and South Of The Border. This looks tricky for punters, but Michael Jarvis' four-year-old can gain what could be just her second win. She has finished as the bridesmaid five time in nine starts thus far, but if she handles these tight turns she looks the one to side with. She is well-drawn in stall two and with conditions to suit, she gets the nod. My Arch is entitled to come on for her recent reappearance when run over an inadequate trip. Stamina is still not assured for this mile and a half though and that makes her worth opposing. South O' The Border has been running well over hurdles this winter and can continue where he left off last year. He is a strong galloper and is likely to up with the pace from the get-go. Heathyards Pride has been in fine fettle on the all-weather of late and Reg Hollinshead's seven-year-old must have claims if proving as good now returned to the turf. Last year's winner Stretton returns for another crack and has landed the plum draw in stall one. Augustus John and Mighty Moon are two more to consider given their consistency, but Kerriemuir Lass is fancied to land the spoils.
