Elhafei landed a double on soft ground last month and it was testing going when Red Derek won at Haydock. He finished ahead of G For Gabrial when placed over track and trip before that while Arabist finished third off a higher mark here last summer and headgear is applied for the first time today. Monsaraz and Abel Tasman have proven best on the all-weather so far but PYSCHE posted a much better effort at Brighton on only his second start for Gary Moore and there looks more to come from him off his current mark.
