        Verdict

        COMMEND has been a tad disappointing despite being placed in a couple of handicaps. He didn't get the best of trips on either occasion, however, and is given another chance here. He should get a good tow round from Leicester winner Deia Sunrise who tried making all once again at Sandown last time but there's a few others with decent claims. Paddyfrommenlo just got the better of Deepsand over C&D in July and Clon Brulee scored over track and trip on his penultimate start. Cottesmore and Eastern Destiny are other recent winners who may not have stopped improving yet.
