        Verdict

        Sweet Reward is not the most reliable but won easily at Goodwood last month. He’s upped in class and raised 7lb and may also be taken on at the head of affairs by Box To Box, who scored over track and trip in June. First Impression is another who races up with the pace and he scored over track and trip last month but DARK PINE will have the race run to suit and was only beaten a neck off a 4lb higher mark when last seen over track and trip. Southern Voyage won at Newcastle last autumn and has subsequently switched to Richard Fahey’s yard.
