In depth

Verdict

DIAMOND LAURA looks a good bet to continue her hot streak here at the main expense of Walk On Water and Crown. Ruth Carr's filly has won three of her last four races and she was narrowly beaten by the progressive Bluie last time. She has course and distance form and the yard are going well and she should run a big race. Walk On Water won well on her debut at Ascot last month when she beat Seeking Dubai and this filly from the Henry Cecil yard looks the main danger. She is related to a number of top sprinters in Australia and New Zealand and the race she won last time has worked out quite well so she merits serious consideration. Crown has shown all her winning form so far over the minimum trip but she has been running in Group and Listed company since she has been upped in trip and now she is dropped to this level she should be capable of getting competitive. Catbells showed promise on her debut but she has the worst of the draw here, so Exotic Beauty might be a better alternative for those that want to try and take on the market leaders. Diamond Laura is in good form and she can win again.
