In depth
Verdict
Alan Bailey does well with his runners here so it could pay to take a chance on AUTUMN BLADES; the list of dangers is headed by Dance And Dance and Dubai Dynamo. This five-year-old won well here earlier in the month when he got the better of Academy Blues over a mile. The slight drop in trip will not be a problem for him and from the plum draw he can land the prize. Dance And Dance is another who won here earlier in the month and he looks progressive. He has a decent draw and he should give our selection plenty to think about. Dubai Dynamo wasn't beaten far at Ripon last time and the drop in trip is a plus. He likes to race prominently so he will need to break smartly from stall eight to get into a good early position. Given the recent form of the Richard Fahey stable, Brae Hill is worth consideration, especially as he has won over the course and distance. The draw would be a big negative for Invincible Force, and in a race where plenty of them have a solid chance, we will opt for Autumn Blades to take the prize.
