Verdict

Clockmaker has not won since landing last year’s renewal off a similar mark. Favourite Treat also faces a tougher task than when placed at Ayr a week ago and Gabrial The Tiger is upped a grade off a higher mark after scoring at Musselburgh. But the latter’s stablemate FULLON CLARETS drops in class and Richard Fahey’s charge could go close off his current mark, My Target ran well at Newmarket last time and Compass Hill has joined David Nicholls having won at Cork when last seen in action in September. Gold Trade was only placed in a maiden race on his latest start but Lil Sophella lines-up here having been a non-runner in the Carlisle Bell on Wednesday.
