Verdict
This looks to be a very trappy affair and a sporting vote is given to Ramsgill, with Montasori and Acusio just two of many dangers. The selection has already been successful under this pilot back in May and the partnership have gone close in defeat since. Off his current mark, on ground that suits, he could go very close at a decent price. Acuzio is not the most consistent of performers but has a chance on course running here back in June. Montosari could not have been more impressive when successful at Carlisle last time. However that was on much faster ground and his chance will disappear if there is any significant rain. Barbirolli is one of the more consistent runners in the field, but he too would prefer faster ground and so that returns us to Ramsgill as the likely winner.
