Verdict
A very open contest that could fall to Dani Ridge, who is a tentative selection. The filly has been dogged by sinus trouble, but providing she is over that then she would have a good opportunity to pick up her second win in lesser company than she has been used to running in recently. Trip and ground should suit, and she could have had a worse draw than five. Bella Chica is another who has been tried more highly than this level, running creditably without winning. Her three length second to Baralinka over course and distance last month would put her in with a shout here and she will be out to recover some losses after getting no run over the minimum trip at Sandown last time. Of the rest, have a look at the market for the chances of Yorkies Boy. Another dropped in class and also trip here, he comes from the in-form James Given yard and has a plum draw. Any market confidence would be worth noting. Alan Berry-trained Glenrock has been off the course since January and has run well when fresh in the past, without winning. Again, the stable has been producing winners lately and the five-year-old must have place claims if he can over a poor draw.
