Verdict
This is a competitive handicap and the vote is given to South Cape, with Inter Vision and Celtic Sultan the others to consider. The selection has been running well of late and he was a good second behind Persian Express last time over a mile. He is better over today's trip and with the excellent Matthew Davies taking 7lbs off his back he looks to have really solid claims. Inter Vision is chasing the hat-trick today and this course and distance winner is afforded plenty of respect. However, he has been drawn in the car park today and that will make life tough. Celtic Sultan has been running well in some competitive handicaps and he does have a good draw in stall 3, but his best form is over 6f and for that reason he is narrowly passed over. Phluke is a course and distance winner and he has a fair draw so he could go well at a price. But South Cape has plenty to recommend him and he is taken to score.
