Verdict

This looks a question of whether AUPCHARLIE has regained confidence after two falls. A Grade 1 runner-up for Willie Mullins in 2012, he's contested much higher class races than this and was still in touch when falling two out in a Grade 2 at Gowran in February. He's receiving 4lb from both Caim Hill and Lambro which should enable him to return to winning ways. The former is an excellent dual-purpose performer with 13 victories from 49 career starts in all kinds of disciplines. He hasn't been seen since November but won't mind the ground and looks better at this stage than Lambro, whose last run came when pulling up at Listowel in September. Miley Shah was having just his fourth start over fences when gaining a very impressive victory at Naas last month and there should be more to come.
