Arion Sky, Owenacurra Lass and Saint Or Sinner are penalised for bumper victories but the former is reunited with Davy Russell, who was on board for her victory at Ayr. Her former trainer Gordon Elliott runs the latter, who won a Downpatrick bumper but ran poorly on her hurdling debut at Sligo in August. Abbi Shore put a moderate debut behind her with a much better effort over this track and trip and looks more promising than her stable companion Getawayrooney, well beaten in a Tramore bumper. though it's about time MY MIDNIGHT was winning. Andy Slattery's mare has been a bit unfortunate so far and her close second to Quarry Lil over the track and trip would probably be good enough. The consistent Whatucallher is an obvious threat and looks booked for a place again while The Three Wizards will be better for her run in the selection's race on this track.
