Verdict

Bangonform had Fever Pitch back in third when successful at Tramore in October but he's been beaten twice since and re-opposes on 11lb worse terms here. Karinga Queen hasn't raced since finishing a well-beaten favourite at Kilbeggan in June but Scholars Mate could figure if an error-strewn round at Limerick last month hasn't dented his confidence. Urban Gale only won by a nose at Downpatrick and is 7lb higher now and may struggle to get the better of the less-exposed JACK BENE. A recent third at Downpatrick suggests the latter is gradually getting the hang of jumping fences and Henry De Bromhead's charge is by no means harshly treated on his handicap debut.
