In depth

Verdict

Josies Lady started off over 2m4f but showed a little improvement over this trip at Ballinrobe, though she still looked one-paced and may prefer some give in the ground. KATY P made her racecourse debut at Cheltenham in April where she started favourite. She ran well enough to finish third before occupying the same spot in what looked a strong event at Tipperary and, unless there's something decent among the newcomers, she should gain her first success. Khalessi looks best of the remainder with experience while Gordon Elliott's Quinnsborotemptres, a half-sister to two winning jumpers, is a newcomer to keep an eye on along with Aunt Berry, a half-sister to three winning hurdlers and out of a winning bumper.
