Verdict

ENVOLI PIERJI (NAP) showed plenty of potential last winter and had no problems landing a Tramore maiden on his reappearance last month. Liz Doyle's grey looks the type to do much better and an opening mark of 120 may prove lenient. High Sparrow was wearing blinkers for the first time when scoring over the course and distance a fortnight ago so would have an obvious chance if they work again while Cloudy Morning reverts to hurdles on a 17lb lower mark than over fences and with his rider's claim to aid his cause can get into the action. Elwood has come up against useful rivals in small fields but his second to Ronald Pump at Cork in March has been well advertised by the winner so he should get into the frame.
