Verdict

Successor could have the form of his narrow Wexford victory boosted by runner-up Diego Manchego in the opener and he's definitely on the upgrade but this should go to OUR RACHAEL (NAP). Tony Martin's mare showed ability over hurdles last winter but has improved out of all recognition on the level completing a double in the past few weeks and arrives here on a very lowly mark. Sweet Home Chicago won very easily over three miles here but couldn't handle the 11lb rise in the weights on a return visit while Touch Of Gold has yet to prove he stays this far. Dual Flat winner Brontide has shown some potential and Ruby Walsh is an interesting booking while Storm Racer makes his handicap debut and should do better in time.
