Verdict

Une Lavandiere carries a penalty for her narrow victory on very heavy ground at Listowel a fortnight ago and may not be up to conceding weight to A SIZING NETWORK, though the latter has become very frustrating. A winning point-to-pointer and hurdler, he's still a maiden after 15 starts over regulation fences but he's been coming up against some smart opposition and can finally get off the mark. Sir Abbot is another long-time maiden over the bigger obstacles but ran very well over hurdles last time which should have given him a confidence booster. Burndown looked a progressive stayer when runner-up in a 2m6f Tramore handicap and didn't go quite as well over shorter at Kilbeggan while Na Trachtalai Abu was behind the selection on that track last month.
