In depth

For Pedro ran easily his best race to date on heavy ground at Listowel and any further rain would greatly aid his cause. Paddy Gunzales has been attempting to make all in bumpers and though unsuccessful hasn't been beaten far and has all the attributes to make a hurdler. Tongie showed real potential when last seen earlier this year but he looks more like a staying type and may find the guaranteed fitness of ROMAN GOLD too much. Gordon Elliott's charge showed ability in bumpers and travelled well for a long way on his reappearance and hurdling debut over 2m4f at Punchestown. He didn't find as much as expected at the finish but the lack of a run could have been the reason and he's given another chance here.
