In depth

Verdict

Dromore Lad created a shock when landing the Grand National on this track in November though that was over an extra half-mile. He pulled up in his next two starts over fences in tough handicaps but did better when reverting to hurdles here last month. Stable companion Waitnsee, a Tramore winner over fences in July, has been racing at a high level subsequently including when twice narrowly beaten by Galvin so could prove best of the pair. Go Another One had little chance behind Mount Ida in the Kim Muir and hasn't quite fulfilled early potential over fences but SPYGLASS HILL has been mixing it in strong company and gets a chance to return to winning ways though some rain would help. Macgiloney pulled up in a Cheltenham Grade 2 and had defied a slipped saddle when battling to victory at Fairyhouse earlier so looks a threat.
