Three-year-olds have won the last four of these and are strongly represented here. INDIAN CHIEF looked very smart when a close third to Libertarian and Trading Leather in the Dante and the subsequent performances of the first two suggested he should have gone to Royal Ascot with a winning chance. He didn't appear to enjoy the very quick ground there and looks ready to get back on track. Aidan O'Brien also runs Snow Queen but she's been disappointing this season though the soft ground may enable her to do better. Bronte has been going well in handicaps and deserves a crack at this level though Pearl Of Africa looks to have more of a chance after looking much improved at the Curragh. Fort Knox, a Listed winner at Leopardstown in April, ran poorly in the Irish 2000 Guineas but the fast ground was against him and he should be shown in a better light here.
