In depth

Verdict

The more rain the merrier for MOORES ROAD, who showed his first sign of ability for a long time on testing ground at Limerick's Christmas meeting then convincingly won a handicap there two days later. He's up 9lb and this is tougher but a quick double looks on the cards though Scoir Mear is a major threat as he's progressing fast. Tom Mullins' grey scored at Tipperary in May and reappeared with a victory at Galway before two excellent runs in better handicaps than this at Navan. Ah Littleluck completed a hat-trick on good going and found the ground too soft last time but Knockraha Pylon has been running well over the minimum and has no problems staying this longer trip. Consharon Boy makes his handicap debut and doesn't look badly treated on the balance of his form while the veteran Toon River is very well handicapped compared to his chase rating and almost took advantage at Limerick.
