In depth

Verdict

DE DODGER failed to score in 15 starts over timber so can hardly be a positive selection, though he probably would have won on his chasing debut at Clonmel last month but for unseating his rider at the last. This is probably an easier race and he will be difficult to beat in that kind of form. Pocketfullapennies ran really well behind Mr Eko at Clonmel in February but poorly on his two subsequent starts and though Spring The Que has produced some decent performances he's still a maiden after 19 starts over fences. The Book Thief ran a shocker at Navan last time, though that was over 3m, and an earlier run over this trip at Clonmel puts him in the frame for this.
