In depth

Verdict

Face Off showed potential in the past and put it to good use at Navan last weekend when staying on to lead close home. She's tended to be better over further earlier and a 9lb rise makes this tougher. Gopsies Daughter was 6l behind in that latter event and looks held while Dash D'Or is up 7lb for a minor handicap victory at Tipperary. Bailly's best runs have been on very fast going which he won't get here but the three-year-old Black Martini was making her handicap debut when scoring at Down Royal and has plenty of scope. Silver Service had a consistent first campaign but will need to raise her game. ASPEN BELLE is a consistent mare with five victories to her credit. She's best over this trip on ground with some give so gets a tentative vote in a tricky sprint.
