Verdict
Spirit Of Eagles has been gradually improving and had a bit in hand at Down Royal so a 7lb rise looks manageable. Never Shout Never is also on the upgrade and with an opening mark of 77 reduced by Jamie Powell's claim he has a fair chance of getting off the mark. AMERICAN IN PARIS gave notice of an imminent victory when narrowly beaten at Naas and though her victory at Cork was over 6f she was in the lead at this trip and the runner-up has won subsequently. My Girl Sioux didn't get the run of the race at Sligo last week and should again take care of Distillate.
