Verdict

Fighter Allen won over fences here in April last year but has subsequently been disappointing though in very much better company. Darver Star reverted to hurdles last summer and completed a hat-trick but ran poorly over fences at Wexford last month. Lieutenant Highway beat two rivals to land a Roscommon novices' chase before finding Grade 3 company well beyond him at Galway. Gordon Elliott also runs SALVADOR ZIGGY, runner-up in the Pertemps at Cheltenham and a comfortable debut winner over fences at Punchestown. He can remain unbeaten over fences as though Time To Rocco made a winning chasing debut at Thurles she jumped poorly at Fairyhouse next time.
