Verdict

DOCTOR BROWN BEAR has had six starts over timber and been placed just once but he's been running in very much better company and wasn't disgraced in a Cheltenham Grade 2 in January. Fermoyle, runner-up in a Punchestown maiden on hurdling debut, has since started favourite for a Flat maiden but run moderately. Tullybawn was a 50/1 chance when runner-up in a Downpatrick maiden and changed stables before a poor run at Roscommon though he may just have needed the run. Lucky Storm was in the process of running well at Cork when falling three out.
