LA CANAADA has been progressing nicely and gained an impressive first victory on soft ground at Navan last week. She's been raised a massive 12lb but, with her young rider able to claim 10lb, a quick follow-up looks on the cards. Luke Dempsey's 10lb claim will aid the cause of the ultra consistent Drinmoy Lad, who will enjoy the conditions, while Mount McLeod is back over a more suitable trip after making his debut for new connections last month following her transfer from Jamie Osborne. Khelino finds the minimum trip on the short side as does Cookie Crumbles, who was staying on well behind the selection at Navan and has a big pull in the weights.
