In depth

Verdict

Clody Valley was having his 15th start over timber when stepping up to this trip for the first time and winning easily at Fairyhouse. He's been hit with a 15lb rise and MISSIEE could have his measure. She was returning from a break and racing over a trip short of her best when scoring at Wexford and an 8lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a double. Riaan has shown plenty of potential in maidens and found 3m1f stretching his stamina at Sligo while Halsafari spent last winter over fences and reverted to hurdles with a fine run on heavy ground here a fortnight ago.
