Verdict

This looks slightly more competitive than Division 1 though once again the champion trainer has entered a once-raced winner on the Flat in France. GRAND BORNAND is from a very smart jumping family on his dam's side and comfortably landed a bumper in the Provinces in June last year. Carrolls Cottage had no problems landing a point at Dromahane last month while Takarengo, placed in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket last month, didn't get the best of runs at Punchestown and can do better. Thedevilscoachman landed what looked a strong bumper at Naas in January and looks a nice prospect for Noel Meade.
