In depth
Verdict
Rock Medley has only won once in 14 starts and is back on his highest ever mark after a decent effort at Dundalk. FAMMI SOGNARE, who has been hurdling without much luck, ran very well on her return to the Flat at Leopardstown and is just 1lb higher. Her two victories to date have come on fast ground and the conditions will be in her favour. The fitness advantage she holds over Midnight Soprano may be enough to see off the progressive rival, who makes her handicap debut after a comfortable success on ground with some give at Wexford last July. The veteran Maal gained the seventh success of his career over a mile at Limerick and this longer trip is no problem for David Marnane's versatile performer but Elusive Award's two victories have been over 7f and he's yet to prove he stays this far.
