In depth

Verdict

Mikey O'Connor won this in 2009 and can repeat the feat with MAKE IT BETTER, who completed her hat-trick with an emphatic success at Ballynoe earlier this month. Calypso Queen wasn't much good under Rules but made an impressive start between the flags at Kilworth last month and looks a big threat. Miss Brownstown is still a youngster but is progressing nicely as she showed when landing a maiden point at Dromahane while Thanks For Smoking came home an easy winner at Kirkistown in February and could go on to better things.
