In depth

Verdict

Shrewd Investment's return to form at Plumpton was timely but Alan King's five-year-old is still a maiden and may struggle to give 17lb to ROSSBRIN. Anna Brook's charge has been in good form this spring, winning over C&D in February and finishing in the frame in both subsequent starts. He gets the vote here as Dakota Boy has shown little since winning at Worcester last June. Gainsborough's Art won at Hereford last month but, along with L'Homme De Nuit, was pulled up on his latest start.
