Verdict

Rekindling won this last year halting a run of four victories for Ballydoyle, who have three engaged. Flag Of Honour had Giuseppe Garibaldi a length and a half behind when they were 1-2 in a Leopardstown Group 3 in October but that was over 1m1f on ground with some give. The pair look better at this stage than stable companion Victory Salute as he's also taking a big step up in trip and class after his maiden victory over 1m2f at Cork. TWILIGHT PAYMENT is a smart stayer who is at home on the ground and returned after a long break to chase home Order Of St George at Leopardstown. He may have too much experience for the younger brigade and Queen Alexandra Stakes winner Pallasator is likely to find a few of these too speedy. Bloomfield is definitely improving and after successive Listed victories only just failed to concede Flattering a stone in a Group 3 at Cork.
