Verdict

Jim Bolger has been unable to find a race for Stellar Mass, who has disappointed since runner-up to Embiran in a huge field here in March. He's handed another chance on this much quicker ground though MUTADAFFEQ may prove too good for him. Kevin Prendergast's colt made a very satisfactory debut here in August and though not seen subsequently looks the type to go on to much better things. Aidan O'Brien runs two but like the opening race jockey bookings hold no clues. Big Ben cost 750,000gns which is hardly surprising as he's a half-brother to the brilliant Attraction. Treasure Chest wears headgear for his debut and he's another son of Galileo and related to plenty of winners.
