Verdict

Beau Satchel is going from strength-to-strength but another 12lb rise for completing a hat-trick at Galway may prove a step too far. Despite his big weight, Akasaka isn't badly treated and Eddie Lynam has booked Caroline Murtagh with her 7lb claim so expect a big run. Ashjar has won over hurdles and 1m2f recently and may find this on the short side but Hasanour looked on the upgrade when beating the consistent Sretaw at Galway. However, the one to take out of that event is SHALAMZAR, who stayed on stoutly. He'll need a fast gallop to play to his strengths but that's probably what he'll get and he can take this for Tony Martin. Korbous has been unable to cope with a 5lb rise for his Leopardstown victory.
