Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won this with some top-class fillies and MEDITATE can join the roll of honour. Unbeaten in four, she looked right at home when tackling this trip for the first time in the Debutante here and should hold third-placed Thornbrook again, though the latter was having only her second start after landing a maiden. Tahiyra, a half-sister to the brilliant Tarnawa, could hardly have been more impressive at Galway and could be anything while Sydneyarms Chelsea, three-lengths behind the selection at Royal Ascot, showed much better form on softer ground at Deauville last time.
