Verdict

Some choicely-bred newcomers are entered here but the experience of TALACRE should stand him in good stead. He looked in need of the run when runner-up to Pretty Gorgeous at Bellewstown then just failed to concede 5lb to Nicest at Leopardstown with some smart fillies behind. John Murphy has booked Shane Foley for Connia, who will stay further in time, while Shahaada cost €130,000 and is the first foal of a winning miler. Shandra, a daughter of Sea The Stars, is a half-sister to four winners, two of them at Group level, while Ubuntu is out of a 1m3f winner. The selection's stable companion Rugadh Realta cost 150,000gns and is related to a winner over this trip in the USA.
