Verdict

Mooneista won this last year and though unsuccessful subsequently there was nothing wrong with her fourth behind the flying Nature Strip in the King's Stand Stakes. She shares top rating here with Castle Star, though the later hasn't been seen since half-a-length behind Perfect Power in the Middle Park last September. Cadamosto is held on his fourth to Perfect Power in the Commonwealth Cup and was never involved in the July Cup last week while York Listed winner Last Crusader has a bit to find though Karl Burke wouldn't be sending him here without hope. Fellow raider Equilateral was in superb form in Dubai over the winter and has returned with very good runs at Ascot and Sandown. BROSTAIGH is improving with racing and showed tremendous speed to land a Group 2 at Chantilly so she gets the nod to complete a hat-trick.
