Verdict

In the past year, FAME AND GLORY has won the Royal Whip over 1m2f here and the Gold Cup at Ascot over exactly twice that trip. His next engagement is the Irish Champion Stakes in a fortnight so this looks an ideal stepping stone. He'll be at very short odds for this and is impossible to oppose but Saddler's Rock is taken to chase him home. John Oxx' colt was having just his fourth start and making his handicap debut when a facile winner over this trip at Leopardstown and there's plenty more to come. Fictional Account finished behind Fame And Glory three times earlier this summer so would be an unlikely winner but he ran very well behind Sense Of Purpose at Leopardstown last month and should be in the places. The remaining trio all have plenty to find.
