Verdict

Jim Bolger has won this for the past four years - twice with newcomers and last year with the classy Banimpire - so his debutant CLEOFILIA has plenty to live up to. She certainly has the pedigree to be a success so is given the vote to make a winning start. Soon had Redoutable a head behind when landing a maiden at Galway last month and both have been beaten in better company subsequently. With a 4lb pull here Kevin Prendergast's filly should take her revenge though Sophies Echo may do best of those with experience as she looked potentially useful when beating An Ghalanta here before playing up badly at Tipperary.
