Verdict

Blackbeard started off with a victory over 5f at Dundalk before just getting up over that trip in Listed company here with Ocean Vision back in fourth. Certain to be suited by the extra furlong, Ryan Moore chooses him over the filly Deneuve, who also got up close home over this trip at Naas though the form hasn't worked out. Mehmar makes a quick reappearance after a close second to the long odds-on Ballydoyle colt The Antarctic at Naas on Sunday. TOUGH TALK produced a sustained challenge to catch Little Big Bear over the track and trip last month. The runner-up and third have both looked above average subsequently and Ger Lyon's Kingman colt can come out on top here.
