Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has three entries with Mount Tabora bidding to put a couple of reversals behind him when well supported. His latest run at Newmarket was probably a good effort as he came up against a pair of smart Godolphin youngsters and he should have the beating of stable companion Whitsunday Islands, though the latter didn't get the run of the race here last month and will have come on a bundle. He has the same sire as Western Australia, a 260,000gns half-brother to a Listed winner and certain to be suited by this trip on his debut. Giga White attracted good support over the course and distance three weeks ago and caught the eye with a taking performance, staying on late after missing the break. GUARANTEED finished a close second in that latter race, battling on after being up with the pace throughout. He can improve enough to go one better though there are some well-connected newcomers engaged including Esprit de Lumiere, who is closely related to four winners.
