Verdict

Bob Le Beau, runner-up at a safe distance to So You Think in a Group 3 last time, has carried big weights to victory in handicaps in the past and Shane Foley's claim will be a big help. Johnny Murtagh gave Zerashan a tremendous front-running ride over this trip at Leopardstown and will be fancied to repeat the process but the third that day, Celtic Dane, could be good enough to reverse the placings. Her young rider, who had won on her on the same track in March, may have overdone the waiting tactics and with a good pull in the weights has enough in hand to make the frame at least here. DEAREST GIRL looks ahead of the handicapper despite a 7lb rise for her victory at Roscommon. Charles O'Brien's filly was always travelling like a winner that day and though 7lb higher can defy the extra burden and land a quick double.
