In depth

Verdict

It looks like a long way back for Epsom hero Serpentine, whose rider 'stole' the classic with a brilliant piece of front-running. His stable have won this with some outstanding performers and it's possible TIGER MOTH could join the long list of greats. Beaten a head in the Derby here in June, he was having only his fifth race when runner-up in the Melbourne Cup and has the scope to win at the highest level. Another from the yard, Broome, has gone from strength-to-strength this campaign though has come up just short whenever he's raced at the highest level. Cayenne Pepper, twice runner-up at this level here last summer, didn't handle the firm going in the Breeders' Cup at Keeneland and will be much more at home here but Irish St Leger winner Search For A Song is likely to find this too short. True Self produced a brilliant performance under Hollie Doyle to score at Riyadh in February.
