Verdict

ALEXANDER JOHN had shown promise over 7f here before a fine run when dropped down to this trip on a return visit. That's the best form on view and he looks the one to beat. St Kitts had a couple of runs in mid-summer and didn't quite get home when tackling 7f at Down Royal though the main threat may come from newcomers. First Gentleman is a half-brother to the smart Flotus while Run Run Run is by No Nay Never out of a Group 3-winning sprinter who has produced winners with her first four offspring to race.
