A relatively quiet start to a superb three-day fixture. Opa Loca and Olfa returned to action in a strong Leopardstown maiden won by One Spirit and both will have benefited from the run. Spice Power, who finished fifth, has plenty to find and looks held. Dodging Bullets has looked ready for a return to a mile after staying on over 7f this season while Quill And Vellum is the type to do better in his second season, though probably over further. John Oxx has three entries and the newcomer Sharestan may prove best of the trio but this could be the day that BETROTHED gets her head in front as she again ran well when runner-up to Vasitas at Roscommon where the easier ground conditions were a big help.
