Jim Bolger won this last year and the improving Alertness has to be respected with her allowance and on her first start over this longer trip. Aidan O'Brien runs On A Pedestal and Waver. The latter has been hurdling but the former produced a much-improved run behind stablemate Loved at Limerick last week despite still looking very green. She's certain to go well while Tetraites has looked in need of this sort of trip recently and any further rain would aid his cause. ESHTIAAL was brilliantly placed to complete a hat-trick within a week over hurdles last month and, with the promising Jack Kennedy able to claim 4lb, is taken to continue his winning streak back on the Flat where he scored twice for Brian Meehan.
