Verdict

AUGUSTE RODIN started odds-on for a track and trip maiden early this month but had no answer to Crypto Force, who didn’t enhance the form in the Chesham at Ascot. Aidan O’Brien’s charge, the first foal of the brilliant Rhododendron, will surely improve for the experience and should take all the beating. His stable companion Greenland is from the first crop of Saxon Warrior out of a Listed winner at this trip. Trachonitus will improve for his run at Leopardstown and Jim Bolger’s horses are running well while Glazunov is by Frankel out of a winner at this trip. There are plenty of other well-connected newcomers on view and the booking of Jamie Spencer for the E350,000 Sea Legend, a son of Sea The Stars, catches the eye.
