Verdict
Search For A Song won the St Leger here last year but never really got going in the race a couple of weeks ago. He finished runner-up in his only start at the trip at Ascot a year ago and would be an obvious threat to all on that form. THE MEDITERRANEAN is having his first start beyond 1m6f but wasn't stopping over that trip in the St Leger at Doncaster and it will be a surprise if he fails through a lack of stamina. Lismore has no problems with the trip as he showed in the Henry II Stakes at Sandown back in May while Fernando Vichi beat the selection over 1m4f at Leopardstown in June though Aidan O'Brien's charge has made the greater strides.
