Verdict

Hujaylea won this a year ago but is now a massive 15lb higher. No favourite has won in 10 years and this renewal looks as open as ever. FUTURE GENERATION has only run in two handicaps previously and won them both. She stepped into Group 3 company successfully at Leopardstown last time and can continue her progress and take this. Moran Gra, who finished a couple of lengths away in third, should get much closer on these terms and looks a threat but it's difficult to imagine Rock Critic defying a 14lb rise in such a competitive affair, especially as he looks held by Sean Og Coulston on these terms after their recent run at Galway. Pires is certain to come in for support but his recent easy victory at Bellewstown was over 1m4f and a bigger threat looks to be Napa Starr as Charles Byrnes' charge was a close fifth in the race a year ago and looks to have been laid out for the race by the master planner.
